inexplicable how this is #1 rated attraction in charleston. It's by no means an ugly bridge but other than as a means to get to mount pleasant, it really has zero tourist interest unless you happen to be a lover of bridges.

This bridge is absolutely amazing. There is a bike and pedestrian path as well. When you crossover there are plenty of activities in Mt. Pleasant.

A refreshing and memorable walk to the top and a terrific view when you arrive. Easy parking on the Mount Pleasant side.

This bridge was neat to go over and high also. You can see everything when driving on it. I can't believe that this is the only cable expansion bridge that I know of.

Ok. It's a nice bridge, but it's still a bridge. You cross it coming into the city. We took a boat ride that went under it. It is a cabled bridge built in 2005 and was in the movie, the New Daughter.

Shape of the bridge was decorative. Nice view as we were going to mount pleasant and a nice view on our way back. Shape was masterful

The bicycle and pedestrian lane is 2.7 miles long, measuring from Patriots Point Road to East Bay Street. Measuring only the part that is on the bridge structure, the walkway is 2.4 miles long.
