$25 a bit pricey, but it's a good tour

Enjoyed the walking tour and Beth our guide did a great job and was very friendly and helpful. $25 is a bit steep, but I guess it keeps the groups smaller and perhaps more mature... read more

The Charleston Historic Stroll was a great way to learn about the history, culture and people of Charleston. Our tour guide, Kim was friendly and knowledgable. Plus it was just 2 hours, leaving plenty of time for other activities.

We went on this tour last night and learned a lot more about the city than you do from the other tours. Andrew's stories were spot on and made the tour great. I would do this again on my next trip for sure

The guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information about the historical influences on Charleston cuisine. We visited 5 different food establishments and they were all great. It is much more than a tasting tour--servings were bountiful! We enjoyed a variety of Charleston foods, from grits to barbecue to pralines. The moderate walking in this tour was welcomed... More

Let me start by saying that the staff here is very friendly and helpful. The tour guide was also very knowledgeable about Charleston and the local area. It just felt like the tour never really got off the ground. We took the Dark Side of Charleston tour and the history was interesting and well told but it never really engaged... More

We are sorry that you didn't enjoy the Dark Side of Charleston Tour. It is not for everyone. Perhaps you would have enjoyed a ghost tour better? Like the Ghost and Graveyard? Many people on the tours know how to get back to their hotels or parking spots so that is why the tour guide just sort of points in... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our ghost tour of the old jail in Charleston. Sean, our guide, was absolutely outstanding in leading us through this scary building and sharing it's terrifying history! A must for anyone wishing to feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand up straight!

Showed up to take tour, and went inside to use the bathrooms before the tour began, and the tour guide left without us. We went outside and couldn't find them anywhere. Totally unprofessional

What? I'm so sorry! I've never heard of that happening! I'm shocked! Did you tell the office staff and have them direct you to the tour? Please call us so that we can issue you a refund. We are very sorry that happened! Sounds like a major mistake! 843-722-8687 More

Enjoyed the walking tour and Beth our guide did a great job and was very friendly and helpful. $25 is a bit steep, but I guess it keeps the groups smaller and perhaps more mature, and overall it is a very good tour. We enjoyed the graveyard and dungeon trip offered by Bulldog tours. This tour was suitable for my 12 and 10 grandchildren. Just scary enough with out being frightening.

We were a group of ten girls for a bachelorette weekend and we had Franny as our guide. The tour was fun and filling. You get a lot of food for your money - definitely come hungry. Franny was a great guide - very knowledgeable and personable. It was nice that we were able to stop and sit to relax... More

These two tours are really good. Learned so much on the history tour and ate alot on the culinary tour. I thought it would be be size portions but we were stuffed. They took us to 3 restaurants, a spice shop, and a candy store for pralines. We lucked out and got Beth for both tours. She is incredibly knowledgeable.... More
