My kids loved the place but it could use a good cleaning. The pirate ship looked more like a shrimp boat to me. For the under 7 year old crowd, it is the place to be.

Our 17 month old loved every room in the museum, especially the pirate ship. We decided to go to the museum because of reciprocity with our local children’s museum-for half off tix. We probably would not have gone otherwise due to cost. Highly recommend visiting!

I was so surprised at the activities at the Children's Museum. Took my 2 year old granddaughter and she was mesmerized and involved with every single thing. We spent a little over 2 hours there, and she didn't want to leave. I will be purchasing...More

Took my grandson and he had a blast. His only just turned one and quite mobile so he could enjoy almost everything they have. They had things for all ages. He kept at it until he was about to drop. Thinking of joining.

Our 2 and 4 year old LOVED this place. It had great variety to entertain them too from the castle room to the excellent water tables and the sensory sand activity room. Highly recommend for anyone with young kids.

My 7 year old boy thinks this is something we should do every time we come to Charleston. He loves the themed areas, especially the waterworks area and the castle.

This museum was tons of fun my three year old played for over an hour! Only downside was people don't parent their children so their are kids running wild but that happens anywhere!

My son loved his visit here! He was really interested in the water room and also the outside fire truck. But his favorite was the castle, hands down!! He ran all over that like there's no tomorrow! He also really enjoyed the pirate ship!
