We try to go here at least one weekend a month! Its like having the mountains in the middle of the city! There are trail systems all through the park with varying lengths. Great for the whole family.

Love coming to Harbison State Forest, primarily to escape the concrete, everyday runs and get a good trail run in. I haven't been very many times since I've moved to South Carolina, but the few times I have been were excellent. There weren't many people...More

A good choice for evening group rides or just getting in some trail time. Depending on the time of day you could be competing with hikers or runners. I find the summer months too hot for a good ride since the woods offer no wind...More

There are numerous trails that are great for biking, running and walking, but they are not paved. Plan to have plenty of time to explore and enjoy. I've been three times and two out of the three taken a path that added some miles. In...More

Same answer as James B, it is a State Forest, not a park. Yes there is a parking fee $5.00 for the day. There is also canoe/kayak landing. check out the info on their website.
