My grandson and I visited here recently, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. This museum (no admission charge) has one of the best weapons and uniform displays we have ever seen. Dating back to the 1600s! All displays are tastefully done, and arranged and catalogued so...More

South Carolina Military Museum has been a wonderful museum worth seeing. It has got lot of equipments which have been used by the military in the past. I recommend tourists to visit the museum.

The museum is well organized really nothing else to add to the other positive reviews. There is no admission fee. It's off the road a little so don't expect to see it as you drive by.

This museum is actually top-grade! We were very impressed during our entire visit and were enthralled by the quality and number of items in the varied collections. I was especially amazed at the weapon/gun collections...some I'd never... ever... seen before! This is truly Smithsonian quality...More

We happened to visit on Museum Day... no charge. However, it would have been worth a fee as history, according to South Carolina is well represented. Even the location, the cistern of an old cotton mill, added to a sense of history. The history buffs...More
