Nice paved trail along the Columbia Canal from the river diversion dam to Gervais Street. Can connect to the longer Cayce/West Columbia River Walk by crossing Gervais Street bridge. Watch out for pedestrians with earbuds in both ears who are not paying attention to their...More

Went on a pretty Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of parking. You can walk from downtown, be aware that there is a bit without sidewalk. There's a fitness "playground" at the entry, good for a workout. Nice paved trail along the water, really nice...More

I rode my bike while many other people walked and jogged on this smoothly paved trail. It parallels the canal and Broad River, offering many access points to the river for fishing, photography, bird watching or simply relaxing on a bench and taking in your...More

This is a great walk. Paved and beautiful. Has benches to rest on if needed. Unfortunately no bathrooms until you are back at parking lot. This path is about 5 miles round trip.

This park is great for walking, running, biking, walking pets, roller blading, or whatever else you can think of; I've even seen people skiing on pavement (if that's a thing). Parts of the trail have been cut off due to major flooding back in the...More

The park has a nice paved path, there were lots of people walking, running, and biking. The bridge was really cool to walk across. There was a workout area, gym-type machines for use. There was a Christopher Columbus monument. And you can walk into the...More

My boyfriend and I stroll alongside the canal and river quite often--- it's practically our "backyard"! On our walk today, 9/14, we couldn't help but notice the bright yellow rubber duck floats spread out across the canal. They brought a curious smile to our faces...More
