Ole Pedro, LOL

Has not changed in 40 years I dont think, maybe more. A great place to stretch your legs, and look at a few things in the many stores they have. Very dated, but that's the charm... read more

Recently we stopped here on our way home from a family trip and we are glad we did. Our kids had lots of fun seeing all the bright lights and cool shops. My only complaint was the ice cream shop required a minimum of $10 for credit cards, little high for such a tiny shop.

Has not changed in 40 years I dont think, maybe more. A great place to stretch your legs, and look at a few things in the many stores they have. Very dated, but that's the charm I believe. 5 & 10 cent bumper stickers were the best deal.

We took our 23- year old daughter to see this attraction. She doesn't remember the last visit. Had fun reading all of the billboards on I95 leading here. Reminisced about my first visit when I was a kid. We walked around, shopped a little, and took a bunch of photos.

My family went to South of the Border at night and we loved the sights. The hotdog I had made me want to throw up and nobody in my family liked there taco. The ice cream wasn't the best either. It is a great place for pictures though, and you can't miss the signs on the way there.

We planned a trip that would take us through South of the Border, and we ended up staying for a single night. I hadn't been here since I was 10, but thought it would be a great place to make memories for my 4 year old. The single King bedroom was clean, but dated, it was also comfortable and safe... More

If you're looking for an traditional American tourist trap along the Highway stop here. Fun to look at, there's something for everyone amongst the bright lights. Billboards for hundreds of miles along I-95 help you count down the miles. Nice place for a travel break at the least.

On I 95 you can see enough. I'll billboards of this place to make you at least curious. As we we're getting there you could see from the highway a huge sombrero and so many lights it's almost impossible to miss. There are many places to eat an attractions.

I've been driving down to Florida since my youth I thought it was about time to stop at south of the border. I found it exactly what I had expected a roadside stop for selling trinkets and food items in the 50s roadside setting. I much prefer heading west I 90 and visiting Wall Drug in South Dakota.

Stopped for the first time very disappointed. Very tacky with a bunch of overpriced crap. Keep driving my friends.

Stopped here for 2 nights in a Class A. We'd been on the road 2 days escaping the snow and this made a great stop to rest. Had site 176: level and a pull through long enough for the RV & tow. All for a good price and they offer several discounts, including military. Didn't use any of the restaurants,... More
