Beautiful course and difficult. Lots of water hazards, so expect to lose a few golf balls if your game isn't all that (like mine). The price is a little steep, especially for an off season weekend. Saw one small alligator on one of the holes.

Well! Today a friend and I went out at 2:00 PM to play nine holes of golf. We commented that the course was so well maintained. We did not see another golfer through the entire 9 holes either in front or behind. We felt like we had a private course. From this point forward it is off season and you... More

I was very pleasantly surprised by how kept this course is in. The fairways were in the best shape of any course in the charleston area. The greens are spectacular - a little slow, but very good shape. Would recommend playing this course.

My husband and I played this course when we were on our vacation to Edisto Island. This course is beautiful with a lot of slightly difficult holes. There is a lot of water in this course. Almost every hole has some kind of pond on it. But the greens are immaculate and kept up really well. I would highly recommend... More

Nothing like playing golf in shorts on Christmas Eve when it's 73 degrees. Very nice track. Short course with lots of water. Cart path only due to some recent rain, but still was in great shape. Loved it.

Beautiful, peaceful course. Greens were beautifully groomed. Narrow, challenging holes. 70 par. No alligators sited on this trip.

We took on 18 holes on a very hot day, however, there was plenty of holes with shade and course is beautiful! Greens were fast, but once you got them down they were challenging, yet not impossible. Bathroom Facilities were perfectly sprinkled throughout the course. Staff were all so full of southern charm!

Wonderful staff and well maintained golf course. This is not a long course but with 15 out of 18 holes with water hazards, it plays difficult at times. Three players out of our foursome rented clubs - so no need to bring your own. Word of advise - bring at a least a dozen balls per player. We would definitively... More

My 18 year old son and his friend decided to pick up a round of golf while vacationing in Edisto. I was a little hesitant to let him play being he just picked up the game earlier this year and thought it would be too pricey and difficult for him plus we didn't bring clubs. The Plantation actually rents clubs,... More

Nice course with reasonable fees for a vacation area. Staff very friendly. Beautiful houses and condos around the course. Well maintained course. Enjoyed it!
