We made the 80 mile hike from Beaufort and it was SO worth it! The drive itself under the mossy Oak tree canopy and quirky road side stands made for a fun drive. When you finally arrive at Wilkinson's Landing you appreciate how peaceful, scenic and gorgeous the afternoon is going to be. The captain is super friendly and knowledgable.... More

Went to shell island yesterday, only accessible by boat at low tide. Knowledgable friendly capt Mike took a small group of us out on his 11 passenger skiff. He left us there about 2 hours and picked us back up. Nice surprise was cool watermelon on the way home. Found lots of welks and the only sea glass I ever... More

This was a treat. We took the boat ride to shell island. Our guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. They also rent kayaks and canoes . The price was reasonable. We had a blast and got bucket fulls of beautiful shells

A short boat ride led us to a wonderful beach excursion. Don't leave your shell bag at home! Don't leave your sun protection either. More shells than you'll ever want to carry. Lots of walking over uneven, squishy, shell-covered wet ground. Sturdy shoes that you don't care about getting wet/mucky are needed. You can hose off once you get back... More

This offers a uique perspective on Edisto – kayaking Frampton’s Creek to the ocean At Wilkinson’s Landing you can rent kayaks (or launch your own) and experience the marvels of salt marshes, shell islands, and completely undeveloped stretches of Edisto Beach. This is a remarkable chance to have a water-level perspective on the creek (about 100 – 200 feet wide).... More

Great time. Lots of seashells left with a nice bag full of all different types. Would suggest taking a cooler some snacks and possibly even your beach umbrella on hot days gets hot and no shade! But well worth going out and checking out while on the island !!

Captain Mike was and excellent tour guide and was very knowledgeable of the area, even telling us where we could see the sunset over the water. He let my son drive the boat and even followed a momma dolphin and her baby for a while on our way back. We found lots of different seashells and my son and I... More

Wonderful experience at a beautiful place. I would recommend to go kayaking in the early morning before it gets to hot. Shell island is awesome with lots of shelling and sea birds to enjoy. Bring water and a hat
