A beautifully maintained private, not a government structure & not open for the public to climb. It still is an amazing structure that sits along side the Intracoastal waterway.

It's a nice looking lighthouse from the far away view, as you're not allowed near it. There's nothing to do there and there are signs up everywhere that say "private property, no trespassing". Not a welcoming place and boring, and was an out of the...More

Nice place for a quick stop, as it's obviously by definition on the water since it's a lighthouse. Right at a marina, so a nice environment to relax for a bit, but not much else to do otherwise, since it's in the middle of a...More

Very pretty for a photo op, however there are signs that say you are trespassing when you get close to take a pic, there wasn't anyone around so we snapped a pic real quick and hurried out of the community.

The harbor and lighthouse were very pretty. The locals were friendly to us. Nice photo op. We caught it at sunset.

It is the best location to view Annual Christmas Boat Parade after Thanksgiving. The boardwalk is excellent for a stroll after a big coastal meal. For the holiday season, the lighthouse is decorated and is a great photo opportunity. It is great for kids to...More

There is really nothing to see but the outside structure.....this is within a community, and outside of getting out and taking a photo, there is nothing else to do. Perhaps small kids would be intrigued by the structure, but anyone who has an interest in...More

We love lighthouses and were eager to see the Governor's Lighthouse. This small lighthouse is located in a private community (Lighteeper's Village), sits on the Little River and is dedicated to past South Carolina Governors. The grounds are open but the tower is closed -...More
