Walked along the boardwalk at sunset. Beautiful scenery and sights, although bring your bug spray if there's been a lot of rain!

One of our favorite places to stroll before or after dinner on the creek. There is limited parking in front of the park and more in adjacent area. The sunsets there are amazing.

Free and fun place to watch the sea life and birds of Shem creek. Parking can be tricky as this is a popular place, but otherwise a great spot.

Pulled in at dusk with my boat. Caught the sunset before walking along the marsh to our restaurant. What a beautiful view and experience to see the marsh, the boats and the houses.

We love going here, it’s fun to walk up the boardwalk and see other shrimping boats. Most of the time you can see dolphins out in the creek. It’s also enjoyable to walk to the end to see what the fishermen are catching.

The Shem Creek Park has an amazing boardwalk where you can see wildlife such as snails, crabs, heron, pelicans, dolphins, and much more! Fishing can also be done on the boardwalk (but you can’t clean fish on it). It can be busy at times but...More

Enjoyed walking around after lunch at Vickery’s and seeing the wildlife. The boardwalks were very well maintained. A nice breeze was blowing. It felt very safe and low-key. It might be too boring for younger kids. My 11 yo loved watching the crabs and looking...More

10 minutes from downtown, take the Ravenel bridge and Shem Creek is right where Vickerys, Reds, the Shelter and other restaurants are.
