A Quaint and Wonderful Museum!

A great find by the beach. Wonderful exhibits. A fabulous gift shop too! The museum is free but they ask for a small donation.

We always make it a point to visit this delightful museum. It is the only art museum in Myrtle Beach that offers 11 galleries that change exhibitions throughout the year. They always seem to have such interesting exhibitions, and this time was no different. Celia Pearson’s Layerings – A Glimpse of Southeast Asia. Ms. Pearson’s brings you photographs of the... More

Definitely worth a visit. We went on a rainy day and had a great time. Staff are friendly and the exhibits are very exciting.

I love this museum by the sea. What's there not to like? They ask for a donation at the door. It's a beautiful get away.

This museum has a very nice collection of water color. Most interesting to us however, was a display by Logan Woodle. He displays his work through his eyes as a child growing up not in paintings but another form. I won't give it away so you have to go and see. Looking for something different to do among the beaches... More

Entry fee is by donation in front lobby. This provides a nice variety of artwork over two floors (elevator in building). There is also a nice little gift shop.

Though small (just 2 floors) this museum had a wonderful variety of media. The photography exhibit (Cambodia/Vietnam) was stunning. The sunroom was lovely and offered tea and cookies. There is no admission fee. There is an elevator if needed.

this museum is in an old house that was moved down the street, fixed up, and added on to. They have traveling exhibits that vary in quality but are usually interesting. Admission is free, but they accept donations. They have a lovely porch where tea and cookies are offered for a minimum sum. The gift shop is tiny but quite... More

I can't believe I never found this place before this visit. I will never miss it again. Such a wonderful place, the artwork is amazing. Many local artists shown. The paintings feature local scenes, fishing, landscapes, family scenes. This is a gem in Myrtle Beach. I would highly recommend!

Took my 12 year old daughter here, she loves all types of art and I always wanna encourage this. Admission is FREE, but we left a couple of dollars on the acrylic box to support their efforts. Two stories and many art types to look at. Mostly local people and few out of state. The upstairs was dedicated to a... More
