Best Movie Theater Around

I try to get to a movie once a week. This is my favorite spot out of only two options for Myrtle Beach. I drive 35 miles because of friendly employees and great ticket prices.

This is a comfortable theater with lots of options in a convenient location. The popcorn was not very fresh for the 12:45pm movie but they did have a 1 large drink and 1 large popcorn deal that 2 can easily share!

Grand 14 is the best area movie theatre since it is totally stadium seating and they often have the less costly independent movies that some of the other movie theaters don't have. As a senior, I only pay $6 for a movie at any time. On this occasion, we saw "Florence Foster Jenkins" with a superb performance by Meryl Streep.

I visited this movie theatre twice during the week of 8/15-8/21. Once with my young daughter in the afternoon and once with my wife at night. The prices were reasonable from $5-$10 depending on the time of day. There were lots of shops around if you wanted to just take a stroll or grab a bite to eat. The movie... More

Nice comfy seating, 14 screens - none of which are small. Great video and sound system. 3D screens in multiple theaters. One large concession, pretty messy behind the counter... Could use some management enforcement of sweeping up spilt popcorn and cups. Friendly service. HVAC doesn't cook or freeze you out. We have been here several times.

The theatre was nice and clean. Prices were comparable to other theaters ($8-$10) adult tickets. During the summer they have free movies and $1 pop and popcorn on Wednesday during select movies in the morning. Bathrooms were clean Seats reclined, were fake leather, and the arm rests went up and down.
