My teenage boys and I played this at the end of a long golf weekend. It was the highlight of the trip. It is more expensive than the others we played and I am glad we had the other courses first, otherwise we would of lost a bunch of balls and left Grande Dunes frustrated. The course was in great... Sand and more sand, some of it plays like cement. Helpful bag check and snack bar personnel. No 150 yard markers and chintzy score card make having a rangefinder a real plus. Lighting in pro shop is weird -- you don't see the true colors of the nice array of clothing. Course gets a lot of tourist pressure so don't... More

I was here on family vacation and I managed to play a round at Grande Dunes Golf Club. Upon checking in, the staff at the pro shop told me there was a big group about to start, suggested that I saw starter right the way. Sure he let me go ahead of the group. Later I got slow down by... More

Hadn't played Grande Dunes for probably15 years, and returned this year with a group of 12. WOW! Best greens of any of the 8 courses we played in Myrtle area, and we played some really good ones. GREAT COURSE. The course was in superb shape, tees, fairways, and especially the greens, and we're there less than 3 weeks after the... More

Was our first game after our flight down, they were very friendly and told us to relax and take our time. We really enjoyed the course, the people and our afternoon there . Great way to start the trip.

We booked a three bedroom condo for our stay at the Grand dunes. It was luxurious. It had a well equipped kitchen, large living area with big screen TV and three bedrooms. The master suite was huge with a fire place and giant bathroom. There are a couple good hang outs on site. There is a bar down by the... More

what a wonderful golf experience at the grand dunes. I was a 10 year member of barefoot resort which boast of 4 golf courses and 3 restaurants. The grand dunes is a absolutely wonderful golf course with wonderful amenities at a very competitive price. GO FOR IT!!!!! steve
