We had a great time and the zoo is larger then we expected! Kids had a good time feeding the animals and we even has our very own tour guide aka Peacock, show us around.

We wanted to browse through the gift shop at the entrance while waiting to take our river cruise. The woman who spoke with us was very rude and condescending. The brochure encourages visitors to use the gift shop but fails to tell you in order...More

The zoo lost revenue over the last year or more due to hurricane Matthew and highway 707 project. This seems to have led to not being kept up exhibit wise. Still, most are in a natural habitat. Terrain not for those unsteady on their feet,...More

I do not comprehend how this place is open. I went here today without reading reviews and was horrified by the animals health and living conditions. So many animals were injured or underweight. Small enclosures and deplorable conditions. People throwing generic feed to carnivorous animals....More

There was alot of walking but alot of animal interaction. I was a little dissappionted in the variety and my granddaughter got easily bored, but she has been to other zoos that were more "updated". The workers were very nice and it was clean though.

The grounds are OK - pretty clean and shady. Be careful walking - many roots are exposed on the walking path. Some of the zoo was OK. It's nice to get close to the the large birds, goats and chickens and feed them. It's also...More

This was such a sad experience! The animals look sick and they are in terribly small cages. The staff was rude and arrogant. I hope someone does something to help these animals!!!
