Brick Pond Park is a forty acre restored wetland and wildlife habitat located in the heart of the City of North Augusta along the Savannah River front. The park trails are easy and allow visitors to travel through shaded forested wetlands, along open sunny paths, or to comfortable seating to stop, relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the varied wildlife that live within or visits the park. The park is part of the North Augusta Greeneway Trail network where you can walk or bike along the Savannah River banks or travel through the hills and valleys across the City of North Augusta for over twelve miles. Brick Pond Park is a free public park open from dawn till dusk every day. Feeding wild animals at Brick Pond Park is against the law and is strictly enforced. Alligators are naturally present within the park so please closely supervise children at all times and dogs must be leashed and not allowed in the water. Parking is provided at the North Augusta Municipal Center, the North Augusta Greeneway Trail Entrance off Riverside Boulevard or within the Park at two designated parking areas off of Railroad Avenue.

This was a good park for birders but in the last few years they have cleared underbrush and basically cleaned it up. Now they are developing across the street and most traffic will go right through the middle of the park. Iy is an ok...More

A very nice place to visit in the eve this time of year. Take the kids for a walk and fresh air. Let them take their phones for pics. Don't forget the "OFF" just in case the bugs want a feast.

Did the river walk.... eh...nice but just didn't do it for us. This park on the other hand. Dirt trails that are well kept, over swamps and ponds on wooden bridges, just a stroll in the wilderness. Quiet and not busy. Many choices of trails...More

Well kept park with nice trails and water to observe wildlife. Easy to access with free parking. Bring you camera since you can normally see ducks, grebes, geese, herons, egrets and other assorted wildlife. Great green space close to the Savannah River. Old pottery making...More

Walking, biking, running? Sure! It's a pleasant place to unwind with friends or alone. Any time of the year is good. I recommend this view whenever I have visitors. They're always amazed at the beauty and it's not far away.

Very nice park. Well maintained, crushed brick trails around a pond. Bird viewing, saw a turtle head peeking up in the pond. Easy hike, level except for going down a gradual hill from the parking area to get to the trails. Well worth the time...More

My daughter and I love to come here to walk and talk. She takes pictures of the scenery. We've seen gators, turtles and birds. Beautiful place.
