This was fun for me. Of course I was not in training at the time!! Great museum, met a few trainees, who were very respectful. Semper Fi. Now 70 years old!

The Parris Island Museum is a comprehensive museum of the history of the Marine Ccorps. It is well-researched and attractively displayed. The museum also has a section on the history of the area during the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. This is well worth a visit.

Hours: 10 am - 4:30 pm daily, closed New Year's, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
