One of the oldest courses on the Southern Strand, this club offers large greens, and no parallel holes; two characteristics that tend to be absent from many of the modern courses at Myrtle Beach.

This is a poor choice for a golf outing. Waste bunkers give the course a dry, dirty feel. Twosome sent out directly after our foursome... terrible course management. With so many fantastic courses available in MB this one can easily be crossed of your list. Stay away... stay far, far away!

Founders is a special golf course with massive fairway waste areas, superb grass fairways and excellent greens. There are few cart paths as most of the riding is through the fairway waste areas. Keeping the ball on the fairway is always helpful, but if in the waste areas it isn't a disaster as one can easily advance the ball. This... More

Very good greens, grass in the fairways, scenic holes, excellent bunker style, drive through the waste bunkers, and great weather, what a great day of golf. If you haven't played this course, it is well worth the drive from Myrtle Beach. About a 50 min. drive from the center of MB but an easy drive down 17, This excellent course... More

This course is great fun for seasoned players. Course management is a must if you are to stay out of the waste bunkers. I play here often as course drains well after rain and play moves along well. Love these greens.

Keep it in the fairway. I can't putt on Bermuda but it's all good. Lots of waste bunkers so be ready to pick it clean. Not a lot of golfers on a hot day. Need club cleaners on the carts.

I have played this course many times over the years, making the drive from Charleston to do so. This time may be the last time I drive here for THIS COURSE. I was to disappointed to see the greens in such bad shape, no grass and just terrible in every way. The waste bunkers look like an overgrown field and... More

Well, I'll have played 5 tracks this week and this was my least favorite. Bag people not that friendly, waste bunker heaven here, and frankly just didn't fit my eye. Not a terrible place, just not for me.

We played this course on 4/27/2016 after having been there during past visits. The layout is outstanding, however, maintenance has dissappeared. Ever area of the track requires attention and investment. This place really shows the effect of less play!

Just finished our round and it took 5 hours. We had a tee time at 1:50 we arrived about 1:00 there was about 30+ people waiting to tee off, about 1:30 we went back to the club house and spoke to the gentlemen working the front desk to see if we could play another day (possibly getting a rain check)...
