Saluda county is rich in history in many different ways. The connection to the Alamo through Travis and Bonham is probably the best known one

Took a group of school children and these folks bent over backwards to help. It is a small museum, but worth seeing. They also have several historic properties like the Marsh-Johnson house which has been lovingly restored and the Butler-Bonham house. The theater next door...More
