Very cool place to tour and bring the out-of-town guests and see the well-curated and changing exhibits shown in this small corporate museum at the huge Spartanburg BMW plant. Even better if you call ahead a week or two and reserve a plant tour to see the factory. Amazing robotics, clean rooms to paint the cars, and huge assembly lines... More

We arrived with 4 other adults early in the morning of our scheduled visit. We were courtely met and after coffee moved onto the very organized tour. It was quite fascinating and we especially liked the robot assembly line. You fely like you were in a mechanized Juassic Park

It is temporally closed for remodeling. Before closing it was a great walk through BMW History. They have quite a few cars, bikes and even a few airplane motors on display. In addition it is powered by the solar panels visible from I 85 in-front of the plant. If you are visiting, be sure to inquire about a tour of... More

Skip it! Customer service was poor, hours make it almost impossible to get there. Prices are inflated. Would not recommend to tourist or take visitors.

The BMW Performance Center was amazing. One of the best experiences I have ever had . We spent 4 hours driving many different BMW's. The Instructors were both retired drivers and had many years of experience. The y taught us well and guided us through our paces - slalom, windy race track, wet track drifting, timed laps, race against each... More

We had a guided tour in one of those car trains and it was cool to see how the cars are made. The tour guide did a good job of explaining the process and it interesting for sure.

Although the the visitor center was closed for renovations, the tours were still being offered. It was a great tour that was so informative and the guide really answered well all the questions asked. I highly recommend going.

Call and schedule the factory tour! Spots are hard to come by. Keep an eye on some changes, now the factory tours will close and the museum will open again. The factory tours will be down for at least a year. The tour was amazing to see how BMW X series gets put together.

The tour is very well done and you get the opportunity to see the history of the BMW cars and the manufacturing of the current vehicles.
