I had time to kill while waiting for my family to fly into Charleston to head to the beach. I called at the last minute and they were very accommodating. I played with three local guys who could not have been nicer. The starter made sure that I met them and that I felt welcome. This is a country club... More

Just recently played with 2 friends. Had a great time. We have played many times here. The course is in really good (not great) condition. Only complaint was the tee boxes were really, really hard but this was not a problem and just became funny. It was crowded but the it was a weekend and the weather was great. This... More

Course is not maintained. Tee boxes are in such bad condition that you cannot plant a plastic (martini) tee into the hard ground. Fairways are a combination of dirt and spots of grass.

Really enjoyed playing this course. Price was right and course is in great shape. Several teried greens, make you think on your approach shots. Will play again.

The wife and I are tennis members at Pine Forest, but I mostly play golf there. The tennis courts are numerous, the surfaces are clay and well maintained. The golf course is in very good condition and it is a challenging course. Did I mention there is a large swimming pool? The restaurant/bar is also a nice facility and a... More

I ate here at the end of summer on a Sunday afternoon. There was one bartender to serve the bar and pool. Still the pool or bar wasn't very busy and the food took forever. The Bartender was pleasant and brought our food out to the pool 45 minutes later for two sandwiches with fries and chicken tenders. The food... More

First, I live in Pine Forrest Country Club. There is a lovely golf course with lots of wildlife: storks, egrets, fox squirrels (who only live on golf course, grey squirrels everywhere else) and other critters. It is a challenging course with man-made hills and water features all over the place. Weather here generally is mild if on the damp side.... More

Great course for those with a better than average handicap. The tees, fairways, and greens are all maintained well. The clubhouse has good food and very reasonably priced. You can play here year round.

Played the course several times recently with our nephew, good value but you need to be accurate with lots of water hazards cost us lots of balls the first time out. Nice and friendly clubhouse with good food and again very reasonable prices. Good staff in the pro shop also.
