Great array of original artifacts, from pioneer wagons, native American items, original weapons, rifles, pistols. Articles of events that were happening during the early years of the 19th century. When in Deadwood South Dakota a must see.

This is a good stop about an hour or so. Has a lot about the rodeo and the parade. Not to interested in that but the fire arms and wagon coach exhibits are worth the 5.00 admission.

We didn't expect a quality museum like this to detail the history of the Deadwood area so this was a bonus for us. Well worth the stop and admission. Unfortunately couldn't spend the time it deserves.

There is a lot to see in this museum. The carriage exhibit was my favorite part, but the main floor offers murals, photographs, wildlife exhibits, and Native American information. On the edge of town and fee was $6.
