We went with our 6 year old daughter and it did not disappoint! Our tour guide Josh was informative and had fun with the group. We also did the panning for gold which was something I am glad that we didn’t skip out on!

The attraction was great for the family - we were our own tour of 6 people and the tour guides were excellent. My younger kids panned for gold at the end and enjoyed it!

Our family enjoyed the tour and panning for gold. It was a fun experience! If you are cold natured, wear a light sweater/jacket.

We had a great time at the broken boot mine. A highlight for the kids was being able to pickup rocks and gold panning. The staff was great.

The whole cost for the tour and gold panning should be less then $15 per person depending upon the age. It is a really I expensive side trip.

Wheelchairs have gone through the mine. The first door is too small to accommodate but you can carry the chair up the stairs and fold it through the doorway and it will fit through the mine.
