The only museum in the world with a bar. Live Poker, Single Deck Black Jack, loose slot machines, all your favorite spirits, and live music every weekend. Come party where Wild Bill Hickok bit the dust!
Not sure if it was because we were there during the off-season, but servers generally seemed uninterested in waiting on customers. Experienced much better service at other establishments during trip. Food was average and show was entertaining (albeit a little too long with the audience...More
Hands down the best bar in town. So much history and so many things to see. But what makes this place the best is the staff and the live music. We went 5 nights in a row and every night it was the busiest bar...More
During my recent visit to Deadwood, we stopped in to the Saloon #10 Whiskey Bar and enjoyed a nice cold beer and a lot of history. While there, they asked for volunteers because they were going to be reenacting the shooting of Wild Bill and...More
The No. 10 Saloon is where Wild Bill Hickcock was shot to death playing poker. And where he played cards regularly with Calamity Jane and others. (Remember the "Dead Man's Hand?) The original building was burned in a fire but this place is a great...More
There was a reenactment of Wild Bill Hickcock and his Deadman's Hand, and we wish we were able to see more of it. Otherwise, service was great, food was good, drinks were good, and the old-west-style of gambling and the sawdust on the floor were...More
Service and food just so so. Small menu there but we ate there for the reenactment which was entertaining even for our 4 year old grandson. Loved the saw dust floors. Not much on the food, may want to eat elsewhere then see the reenactment
We had a great time visiting last week. We had the opportunity to see a reenactment, and we were very entertained. Decent bar food, and amazing bourbon cocktails. Love the authentic touches. We would definitely return when visiting Deadwood!
Checked out Saloon 10 with the family to watch the Wild Bill assassination. I know that sounds morbid, but it's presented in a family friendly way. There's sawdust on the floor and lots of history here. It's not technically the real site of the shooting...More

I believe the Celebrity is the closest, & we really enjoyed the Celebrity but did not stay there. There is not an attached hotel but there are several within a block or two. Also anywhere on main is a great location Main ST is only like 4 blocks maybe 5 all lined with casinos, shops, hotels, & restaurants. Taxis are about $12 base takes you almost everywhere in town. and some hotels have a shuttle bus always making runs around town like the Gulch Resort (great place)!
