After entering every shop in town on our vacation, The Farmer's Daughter is by far the best shop in Hill City! While you won't find tourist crap that says all things South Dakota, you will find incredibly cute and original decorations, older tools, outdoor garden decor, etc. If there is only one store you visit, make it this one!

My wife and I stopped during our stay in Hill City. We found several great signs that we added to our patio area. The owner of this shop is outstanding! She was very helpful and made sure we had what we needed to transport our items home. We will be stopping again when are in Hill City.

We stopped here to check out this cute store. They have iron art and other art. We ended up getting the best sign ever and prices are very good for what you are getting. There are some talented people with the art.

We are so disappointed that you didn't enjoy your time in our store. Perhaps when your flavor of tea changes, you may have a better time. Please...stop in again! Thanks! Lorena More

We love visiting this shop every fall. They have many unique items for the home and the yard. I just wish they would negotiate a little on the more expensive items.

Thank you for visiting us every fall! Our return customers are our greatest blessing!! And...we try very hard to price items fairly. We always appreciate knowing when we are out of line on an item. We will see you next fall! More

Greeted by the cashier as we entered. A friendly smile and warm voice. There are lots of interesting items here, from old to new. Right across the street from The Alpine Inn. Stop in and browse a bit.

If you have the opportunity to shop at the store, I highly encourage you to do so. My mom and I shopped in the store for hours. The staff was very friendly and made you feel welcome. They have a great selection of lawn decorations, unique household decorations, antiques, and adorable artwork. My husband found the "corn-on-a-stick" lawn decoration that... More

Advertised as an antique shop but had very few antiques. Mostly craft type things. Wasn't a waste but just very disappointed.

We are so sorry that you did not enjoy our selection of antiques. Our inventory changes every day with some days being heavy on the antiques and some days being heavy on the gift side of things. Please come back & visit! We would love another opportunity to "Wow!" you! More
