My wife really LOVES petrified wood. I believe it's her favorite, so we definitely had to stop here since it was literally off of I-90 and was on the way home. The cost to view it was definitely cheap, so no complaints there. The overall feel of the rocks inside the museum, outside, and even in the gift shop were... More

We loved this place! We weren't sure about it at first, but decided to stop by just for fun, and we really enjoyed it! This place is family owned and the owner will tell you all kinds of interesting information about the area and the gardens themselves. They even let our dogs come in, which is a huge plus for... We stopped in on our way to the Badlands. They has RV parking for 1. We were in a 35 ft RV with a 25 ft. trailer. There was a coupon for $ off on the brochure. There is a small gift shop. They had retro postcards and pencils with small rocks. Cute for back to school. The wood walls... More

If you like petrified wood and rocks this is the place to visit! History of the area, types of rocks identified and a gift shop with LOTS of selections. Dinosaur bones and fossils there too.

The gardens are anticlimactic. It was worth going to because the gift shop had a lot of cool souvenirs. I would recommend going though to say that you have gone. If you like petrified wood, this is the place for you to be.

Since we have been to the Petrified Forest, we have seen a lot of petrified wood already, but this was a neat stop to break up the trip. You can tell its an old roadside attraction, but the prices are reasonable for the rocks and fossils.

Family-run business, that I well kept! We were unsure what to expect, but once we walked around & observed, we were pleasantly surprised with the preservation of the items they were showcasing!

I know, who wants to see a bunch of rocks? But it was quite interesting for a 30-45 minute tour. I enjoyed the colorful rocks and they also had a gift shop for purchasing unique souvenirs. They provided information and it was friendly for handicapped individuals. Bathrooms are site, too.

Found it interesting and admission was only $6. Sections on both rocks and trees. Budget about 45 minutes for the museum.
