We only did the drive through and it was pretty darn cool. Areas near the gates the bears seem to just pace back and forth..why? There was a lot of animals and was pretty incredible.I admit, was a bit nervouse a couple times.

You have to pay for this self drive tour around the park, but so pleased we decided to visit, from deer to bears free roaming, also a walk around an area with other animals, on our visit we saw lots of bear cubs,

This is a must stop if you go to Rapid City!! Lots to see. Very cool experience. Animals got very close to car. All seemed healthy & well taken care of.

It is a drive thru. You will always see a large variety of animals, even in August. They may sleep more during the hot hours of the day. The bears are always visible during your drive thru as you go in the middle of them... More
