If you drive buy you will see a large billboard stating the property and cave are for sale. There is also a "Closed" sign at the entrance. Check out some of the other caves in the area. We recently went to Wind Cave but it does seem to be a place you need to get to early.

We were sooo disappointed to get here and find out that the cave and property have been closed for months and were put up for sale long ago. Our hotel manager said this cave has been closed since last fall and the property has several HUGE "For Sale" signs at the entrance from the highway. There are several other caves... More

Very interesting cave inside and out. Good stop for the whole family. Lots of steps so go slow and be safe.

I’ve been through a lot of caves and regardless of their geological makeup I enjoy them all and this one was no exception. Sitting Bull Crystal Caverns is home to the world’s largest collection of dogtooth spar and for that reason alone should be seen and when combined with a friendly and knowledgeable staff is worth the price of admission... Well I guess we expected a little more , but it was satisfactory, it was our first time seeing a cave w crystals. It was quite chilly , but quite a trek down. I would recommend gloves w grip because the rails to hold are so moist & cold. My legs were shaky , lol, after , an I was... More

We really enjoyed this cave. Wasn't very long but the tour guide was very knowledgeable and had interesting stories about the cave. There were 186 steps to go down and back up but I didn't really think it was too bad. There were beautiful crystals throughout the cave. Very enjoyable. After the tour of the cave, we took the approximately... More

One way in One way out. 10 stories of very steep metal, stairs. Some people have to turn around to go down. I personally love it. I love rock etc. About 45 min long and Max our guide was AWESOME!

This was a neat cave experience that part of our family visited. An adult and two 9 year olds visited, and were very impressed with the cave. Many "dog-tooth" crystals to see a neat history of the area. There are very many stairs, which we were well warned ahead of time. The cave visit is 45 minutes long. Although staff... More

A really nice $8 tour that costs $13. It is less than an hour, 87 steps and only 100 meters long. Good crystals if you have not seen this type of cave.
