Went to mass on a Sunday morning. Beautiful. Real candles on both sides of alter for lighting if interested. Stations of the cross statues tell the story-beautiful, well kept, colorful. Brochure available in entry if not able to make a tour.

The "stations of the cross" tour during Lent is very informational and inspirational. They have very high-quality reliefs of the events of Holy Week. Beautiful architecture.

I always like old buildings and this one is exceptional. The stonework is incredible. It is a great example of stonework architecture.

Happened on this by driving around. Was a pleasure to see such old buildings still standing. The work put into the structure was great to look at and admire.

Full disclosure - I am not Catholic but I do appreciate a beautiful cathedral. And this one is fantastic. There is so much relief artwork on the ceiling, the stations of the cross, the pillars - lots of detailed carving. Marble everywhere you look, from...More
