Beautiful views and a beautiful drive. We hadn't initially planned to go to Spearfish Canyon but a friend recommended it. I would advise making a few stops along the way to get out and enjoy the scenery.

It's always a great drive through the canyon when I'm in the area. I always try to go that way instead of take the interstate. If your new to traveling in this area be sure to go through Spearfish Canyon.

We did a short hiking tour. It is on small gravel takes about 15 minutes to get to base to see waterfall. Worth the walk down.

Absolutely! Because this is a popular area for tourists, the roads are wide enough to accommodate a large size RV, even on the curves.

No worries. The road is on the bottom of the canyon with beautiful walls on each side of the road. No scary drop-offs.
