My friend and I decided we needed to stop at this museum. I had read the book “Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee” years ago and remember it as most touching and sad. The museum brought back all the memories of how cruel the American...More

My husband and I stopped in here with two other couples to learn more history, and although it was well presented, the truth is so much more horrific. One couple in our group was visiting from France and was astounded, just as all of us...More

Wonderful little museum; not to be missed. Tells a great story - the tale of a tragic and deplorable event detailing the level of mankind's cruelty and prejudices. Given the security concerns mentioned in the Wounded Knee Memorial site, this provided a nice alternative.
