If you are with in driving distance and have about 2+hours to spare you have to see this AMAZING museum!! I have a few Redlin prints, but had no clue how talented this man was! It took us about 2 hours to go through 3 levels with my Mom who walks with a walker. The building itself is unbelievable, it... More

We've been past it a dozen times but finally had some time to stop in. We had a friendly greeting and were assured that it was free to wander through the museum at will. There is a phone tour that you can dial in your "stop" and Terry tells you a few things about a particular painting. The talent of... More

Spent over 2 hours at the museum. Absolutely in awe of the talent that Terry Redlin had from a young age. Paintings displayed beautifully. We are still blessed to have had him in the world.

This is a terrific place. My husband and I spent several hours here. The staff is very friendly and the art center is laid out very well. There are stations where you can listen to the artist explain his work. There are several stores that sell Terry Redlin merchandise that has a variety of price points from inexpensive on up.... Very much worth the visit. Thought we'd be on our way in a couple hours. I think we spent almost 4 hours and could have stayed longer.

We could spend hours here as each painting tells a story. You search each painting for the little little things one has in their life. This is certainly worth driving out of your way for and well worth the time. The museum us relaxing, clean, and the staff is always helpful. Love the gift stores too!!

Being a Terry Redlin fan we decided we needed to stop and check out the museum. We were not disappointed at all. In fact the opposite. I expected to have to pay an entrance fee, nope it was free. I would have paid to see it after going through it. We have numerous prints of his but the original oils... More

Don't rush through here! Take your time to really appreciate Terry Redlin's talent. This is a wonderful place!! Each painting tells a different story, or is a continuation of a story from another painting. Truly Marvelous! Each time I am here at this museum, I am hoping to see Mr. Redlin. It could happen... right? Plan to spend 2-3hrs here.... More

We were surprised to see this gorgeous art Museum in the small town of Watertown South Dakota. It's three stories of brick, marble, and glass splendor displaying the works of beloved American artist, Terry Redlin. There are many, many of his originals, not to mention, hundreds of beautifully framed prints. I you are at all interested in life on the... More
