Overall enjoyed our visit but we definitely expected more. It's one of those things we can say "we've been there"! Other than that we weren't overly impressed. We've been to Ripleys Aquarium in Gatlinburg and felt that it was much better.

Love the aquarium! Always Great! Love the alligator and snapping turtle experience! Bummed that the otters were snoozing!

compared to a lot of aquariums I've visited this one had a lot of exhibits. The tanks were a little smaller than some of the more popular aquariums, but I definitely didn't feel like I missed anything. Make sure you visit both buildings!

Fun for all ages. The aquarium has two separate buildings. If you go later in the day you will start at the river building. You must get into the ocean side before six. We had a great time. The sea horses are so fun. We...More

excellent family outing, with plenty to do in the area. I like the interaction with touch/feel, interior cleanliness, sanitary and bathroom stations.

Thoroughly enjoyed the aquarium. So well done with the different arteries for each species and a separate area for river v ocean. Lots of seating at the large aquariums to sit and admire.

You have the river and ocean experience. And while the river experience was awesome! The ocean definitely lacked. We started with the river experience, and spent a good amount of time. Everything was awake and moving around, it was very enjoyable! The ocean experience had...More

We live in Gatlinburg, so we have the Ripleys aquarium nearby, so that is our normal Go to. We planned a weekend birthday trip around coming to the aquarium as my wife has never been. In my mind, I've always been kinda 'meh' about the...More

Did the saltwater side first, as I love sea turtles. The staff was very knowledgeable and shared information regarding Stuy, Oscar the male turtles. Can't remember the female ones name. It was an enjoyable experience. The freshwater side too was very informative. We enjoyed the...More

Wonderful place to go with or without kids. However the kids stayed excited all the way through. They even offer photos for great memories years later.

There are options. Hubby and I got the member and 1 guest, I think it's called: an entire year where either of us can go! I didn't feel pressured that first day to try and see a lot, since I knew I can come back at my... More

The butterfly exhibit is really nice! Butterflies abound and land directly on visitors.
