Definitely worthwhile to visit Lookout Mountain when you are in Chattanooga. We went to the National Park at the top and attended a talk about the Civil War battle. Interesting history and gorgeous views of the area. Also interesting to see the beautiful houses on top of the mountain.

The experience was awesome! We covered Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain and Rock City all in one trip. It was amazing! There is lots of walking and rough terrain, but the tiredness goes away, the memories never will.

Cool, not crowded - these conditions made for a very pleasurable visit - but I can imagine heat and crowds could make this overwhelming. Rock formations and the scenic overlook are impressive. Plenty of benches, available snacks and restrooms make this comfortable. The Fairyland statues, variety of vegetation, and history signs make it interesting. I had a wonderful three hours.

Point Park- is the best place to get a roundabout ish view from the top. Great place to take a stroll, look at the Moccasin Bend, and take in the beautiful view of Chattanooga. The Och museum is small but they do have some great historical bits in there. Parked at the visitor center for free, paid $5 per person... More

We visited Chattanooga this past summer and decided to purchase the triple play which included access to Rock City Gardens, Ruby Falls, and the inclined railway. We absolutely loved Rock City Gardens. Be sure to go early if you are going on a hot sunny day. This is also a walk through you do yourself without a tour guide so... More

So much beauty, and history, in this area. We stop here every time we go through Chatanooga. The view from the top is incredible, and there is plenty to do. Definitely worth the trip!

Went to the top of the mountain and the ride and scenery was beautiful! Visited the incline observation area and gift shop. The view was amazing.
