This area of Chattanooga is more or less hidden behind the Hunter Museum of American Art. There is art everywhere, almost in every corner something to discover. There are only a couple of blocks to stroll through, but you'll find galleries, eateries, a bakery and...More
Whenever we visit Chattanooga, my husband and I enjoy walking around the Bluff View Arts District. We walk in the little Galleries (River Galley is awesome), and Rembrandt's Coffee House. The area is incredibly charming.
The District offers so many things, art galleries, bakery, museum and the Walnut Street Bridge. Couple all the great finds in the District with the new Edwin Hotel and you'll see why this is the new hot place to visit while in Chattanooga. I definitely...More
Experience a delightful afternoon touring the Hunter Art Gallery and the Glass Walking Bridge in the Bluff View Art District. Enjoy a great Italian meal at Tony’s Pasta followed by great pastry dessert at Rembrandt’s.
We stayed in the Bluff View Inn, in the heart of the art district. Everything is within walking distance, resturaunts, coffee shops and bakeries. There is also a beautiful art museum close to the Walnut street bridge. Its a great place.
The art area only covers a few blocks but there are lots of places to eat and hang out. We really enjoyed the Sculpture Garden perched on the side of the hill overlooking the valley. Wandering around there are a lot of art works, so...More

Tony's is an up and down restaurant. Years ago it was actually a high quality restaurant but as the years have gone by it has lost its way and you may or may not get a good plate of food. Unfortunately this applies to all the Bluff View Restaurants. This area has become very commercial and that is what you get...commercial food. There is a bakery / restaurant at the entrance to the district that has good sweets and cakes plus some nice salads/sandwiches plus a fantastic veranda covered with wisteria. This is very popular for coffee and conversation or lunch. I would recommend it.
