What a great surprise. We came into town for coffee and stumbled upon some of the best public art. Not only the art but the location is amazing, surrounded by the Tennessee River and the mountains.

A very instagrammable area with sculptures, cobblestone walkways, bed & breakfasts and yummy food. Grab some italian food at Tony's Pasta and stop for dessert at Rembrandt's, just across the cobblestone way. Walk across the bridge to the river walk for views of some amazing...More

A friend of ours who is a local took us to this area and we fell in love with it. The antebellum homes and the many mansions have turned into B&Bs, cafes, art galleries and coffee houses. It was the highlight of our trip. By...More

Nice artwork, but not really much else to do. A few art galleries, but not too big. Expected more out of an "arts district."

Spent two nights at the Martin House, parked the car and didn't use it for two days. Walked a lot and enjoyed the area quite a bit. Just go.

This is not a large district, maybe just the size of three square blocks, but it offers a very nice place to enjoy the museums, the view from the bluff, and some outstanding sculptures. It connects to the Walnut Street Bridge via a glass bridge...More

A beautiful setting, with an outstanding collection of statuary and sculpture. We're visiting for the weekend, and this was one of the highlights. Easy to get to, plenty of parking.

The views from here are great and the area is great for a stroll. We were able to park for free. The small but interesting sculpture park is worth a visit. The river gallery is nice as well. Check out the bread bakery which smells...More

Parking can be tough, but there are plenty of public lots. Plenty open on Sunday, some after noon
