Love Coolidge Park! Chattanooga has done such a nice job with public green space. A quick walk across the pedestrian Walnut Street Bridge, Coolidge fronts the beautiful Tennessee River and is perfect for a blanket and picnic or an evening stroll by the water.

The water fountain was great fun for all three of my children. Even my reluctant teen had a good time wandering in the water. Be aware that the parking lot is enforced all day long. We had no problems but were aware of this.

Such a relaxing place with lots for kids to do. The fountain entertains them for hours! We actually had our wedding rehearsal dinner here 10 years ago in one of the rentable buildings.

Well manicured grass, nice walking path that connects Coolidge with Renaissance Park. Right beside the river with a few benches to sit and enjoy the view.

we were very disappointed to find out the fountains were broken. The fountains make the park and would draw such a crowd of people, which in turn helps the surrounding vendors which helps drive the economy.

We loved our trip to Coolidge Park! We got there earlier in the day(about 10am) and almost had the place to ourselves. As lunch time hit, the park got a bit more crowded. We had driven through the area a few days before we played,...More
