Went there with a friend . The train ride was enjoyable and the price was okay. Didn't know but they Thomas the Tank Engine was going to be there but all the families looked like they were having fun.

We came here for Day Out with Thomas the Train. Our two year old had a blast riding the train, seeing Thomas and all the other festivities associated with this event. If you have young train or Thomas loving kids, this is a must.

We went on the Local 55 minute excursion over four bridges. It’s a short 3 mile ride to their repair shop, a turn table demonstration, and a quick ride back. It was almost too short of a trip even for my toddlers, who were disappointed...More

Good for any age group. Short train ride to see an old train turntable, and repair shop. Very interesting. When you get back to depot you eat lunch there. Inexpensive. Everyone very nice and friendly.

There are a few places to eat right in the town where the train pulls in. No need for a shuttle. Quite walkable - and small.
