I have seen and heard The Detroit Symphony Orchestra and although larger they are no better than the CSO. We are blessed to have the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra!

Chattanooga is a smaller but scenic city with history, outdoor activities, revitalized downtown with beautiful water front AND an excellent symphony.

The Tivoli is a wonderful old, restored theater and adds ambiance to the overall musical experience. We live out of town and don't go as often as we would wish. We enjoy the traditioal as well as nontraditioal performances!

What can I say. The symphony is probably one of the best for this size town in the United States. The City of Chattanooga rents the Tivoli to the symphony. The sound and acoustics are outstanding. The ticket prices are very reasonable.
