I have been here time and again for years and it is always a treat. Currently, the trail to the base of the falls is damaged from debris over this past winter. You can, however, still see some incredible views! Option for strenuous or less rigorous hiking trails.

One of Tennessee's Beautiful State Park's. Great hiking area and fun swimming area right next to the fall's.

We love this little park. We are actually official "friends" of park, committing money and time to its development and growth.

Sizable parking lot, restrooms and well-marked trails. Rock overhangs are spectacular in addition to the waterfall. Park Rangers helpful. Winter hours are 8 to 4:30. Trail to bottom has some railings and is not really that difficult.

A delightful place to visit. Be warned - there's quite a bit of rock hopping and climbing to get to the falls - it's a brand new park - so there really aren't any paved paths yet. You'll be rock hopping and sometimes crossing in the water, ankle depth or more - but the rewards are a fantastic view and... More

This is a great place to go swimming at! At the base of the falls is a blue hole that attracts many visitors! The only thing between you and the blue hole is the hike. The hike isn't bad until you start going down toward the stream. It becomes a switchback trail at that point. Once you get to the... More

Between business appointments we took some time out to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. The trail was easy and the view of the water falls absolutely amazing. We enjoyed total solitude and peacefulness. A great place to unwind and do a little hiking.

If you come on a holiday, there will be A LOT of people here. It's nice and the hike is fun since you have to go through water to get to the falls. There is also a huge swimming hole at the bottom of the falls, which everyone comes for. Having lived near it all my life, I have thought... More

Be prepared for a moderate hike over rocks and through water at points. I think it's about 1.5 miles. Know that the steepest parts are up and down into the riverbed. Don't fret, all sorts of people rest along the way because it's strenuous if you're not used to a steep hike. The area is just beautiful. Gigantic boulders pepper... More

My boys (ages 11 and 13) drove two hours to see this beautiful spot. It did not disappoint! The hike to the waterfall is downhill, through a creek, across the river, and through narrow trails. Water shoes with good traction is a must. The walk to the waterfall took us half an hour; carry what you need but not more.... More
