Even though Trip Advisor doesn't want old reviews, I will state up front my experience with Cherokee Adventures was about 10 years ago and smile still comes to my face when I think about our family trip. I could write a book on the events that took place that day from my wife going berserk after sitting through the pre-trip... More

Our fun weekend began Friday and ended Sunday. The staff were friendly and courteous. The music was excellent as well as the food. It is good for children and everyone seemed to have a good time. The campers were helpful and wanting to find ways to reach out to each other - They are like a big family.

If you are ever in East Tennessee, I highly recommend Cherokee Adventures. Our guide Coolie was very knowledgeable, and we never felt worried while navigating some high speed rapids. It was our groups first time rafting, and we would definitely do it again if given the opportunity.

My most recent rafting trip on the Nolichucky was with Cherokee Adventures this summer as part of leading a group of elementary students with nearby Appalachian Christian Camp. We had a great time with the fun guides. The camp takes several groups of different ages throughout the summer and this is their preferred company to work with. The Lower Nolichucky... More

Whitewater rafting had always looked fun on TV, but I was a little apprehensive since I can't swim. I can honestly say now, it is FANTASTIC!!! There were 11 in our group (which I thought was a lot for one guide) but our guide, Richard, was the most patient person. I started out on the big raft, but moved to... More

My family did the half- day Lower Nolichucky trip while visiting Tennessee from Maryland. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon! Everyone at Cherokee Adventures went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. Kaydee took our reservation and was very helpful and informative and was very understanding when we called and said we would... More

This was our first time white water rafting and we had an amazing time, well worth the money the scenery was breath taking and all of the guides were very helpful and knowledgeable. Mike was our guide and he made sure we were safe and had a great time. We will definitely go back.

We visited last week, it was truly awesome! Richard was our guide, he is excellent! He was very attentive and quick to assist. This was our first time on the river and didn't know what to expect. He eased our concerns! I highly recommend Cherokee Adventures, we look forward to next summer and going out with them again! Thank you... More

We rode the Nolichucky (River of Death) with Mike the manager, and he was superb! He guided the raft through openings only 6 inches wider than the 12/foot raft, which is a major technical feat. No one went "accidentally swimming", and the safety gear was all is good shape. Everyone on our raft was fit and over 55. The river... More
