Terrific tour. Learned quite a bit of an era that I am just a little too young for. Henry is absolutely fantastic! Quite a few interesting facts and stories from someone who was involved with Carl Perkins first hand. It was also great to play an actual guitar and drums set with real history. A must see when in Jackson.

If you are ever in Jackson, TN you must stop by the Rock-a-Billy Hall of Fame. Henry has a personal passion for all of the unique memorabilia that is there. This is an hidden Gem in downtown Jackson. Be sure to ask Henry about his boxing career.

If you have the time stop. You will see the story of this particular type of music. See a pair of Carl Perkins blue suede shoes. You are bound to learn something.

This is musical heritage kept in trust by A gentleman named Henry who used to be the Toyota Dealer in the town who's a great personal friend of Carl Perkins, the writer and singer of Blue Suede shoes and has many great stories to tell of Carl's life an many others. And the song which was arguably the birth of... More

We felt Henry's enthusiasm when he greeted us at the door! His knowledge of rockabilly music was impressive and his collections were equally amazing. We had a chance to "sing" Blue Suede shoes while "playing" Carl Perkins's guitar. We also played the drums which Elvis's drummer once played. We felt like famed singers and musicians for a brief moment :)... More

This was on our must see list while in Jackson. We had trouble with parking as most spaces were marked for an hour. With the court house nearby, we expect this may be monitored. The sandwich board outside said OPEN. The door was locked but a note said to use the buzzer as they might be in the back. We... More

This place and the tour was amazing and incredible! You will never forget it!!! My teenagers were enthralled by Mr. Henry Harrison! He gave the tour and talked about the famous rock a billy singers he knew personally! We even played on the drums from Elvis's summer! Thank you so much Mr. Harrison!
