We walked around and shopped in small shops. There are several places to get food or just coffee. Historical buildings to see as well as the old cemetery . If you enjoy historical parts of old cities this is a great place.

On the downhill side right now, building up again. It goes through cycles. Jig and Reel had really good food, several other selections around also. May liven up for late night.

It's like a carnival on the street corners. Full of fun entertainment and street performers. Aerialists, hoopers, unicyclists and food vendors. Lots of excitement.

The Old City is just that. An Old City in Downtown Knoxville that has lots of great restaurants, bars and dancing. The food truck park is awesome when they host it each month as well. Old City is worth the visit!

Surprised by the empty storefronts. Shops come and go along with art galleries. Restaurants are the mainstay. Parking is pricey. Some construction limits parking and free parking on the side of the road. But, it is a trade off if you want to park at...More
