From the 10-ton, 30-foot-high basketball that sits on top of the building to the life-like animatronic figure of Senda Berenson, "the mother of women's basketball," this will not be your typical hall of fame visit.

A great attraction for any basketball fan. Because of the relatively recent development of the women's game, you get quite a full history of its development. There were some interesting interactive exhibits. I enjoyed the one where you are "in the locker room" with Geno...More

I wouldnt get too excited unless you are a big Womens Basketball fan. I will say it is very clean, neat and well put together. The exhibits are very informative and some even entertaining.

How long does it usually take to go through the Hall of Fame? We have a couple of hours on a Friday afternoon while we're in Knoxville, but I want to make sure that's enough time for what it has to offer. Thanks!

A couple of hours is plenty of time to see the exhibits and watch the film. We took pictures, watched the film, saw the exhibits and shot a few hoops in about an hour.

My boyfriend and I purchased a picture from an estate sale for the frame. When we took it apart we an old photo young women posing with a basketball and hoop. Pic may date back to early part of 20th century. I can send a photo if you may have an interest in display in the museum. Please let me know either way. Thx

I am currently in Knoxville, and we come on business here at least bi-weekly. I am sure the curators would be interested and would be happy to take it by there. Maybe they can give you information about the photo at least.
