The statue is worth the visit. If you seek to add a photo to your " Great African Americans" collection. Park is very small, but clean.

Park was just a pocket park so time allotted to go see the park was too long; takes about 10 minutes to see statue and read inscription.

My children and I just happened to drive by and find this gem of a park! The playground is suitable for young children especially in spring when it is not too hot. There are walking paths, people jogging, biking, and the view is beautiful!
