The CBT did it again! Another great show with excellent cast, set and costumes. It was a fantastic, beautiful and entertaining show and never a dull moment. Parking was easy and close by. We picked our tickets up at will call and that was also quick and easy. The show has been a sell out so get your tickets early... More

My family, including two children, attended CBT's opening night performance of A Christmas Carol. Every aspect, from the set to the actors, was extremely well done. This was our first visit to CBT and based on our experience, we'll be back!

Just saw The Crucible at the Carousel Theatre which is a part of the Clarence Brown complex on the University of Tennessee Knoxville campus. As usual the performance was OUTSTANDING! I have never been disappointed with any of their performances. A few years ago I reluctantly went with a group to see A Christmas Carol which we are all familiar... More

Over the years, I've been to the Clarence Brown theatre several times, and certainly not enough. They do a first-rate job with their shows, and often hold a show over due to popular demand. It would be nice if they could get some updating done, but that does not detract from the performances. We are fortunate to have a theatre... More

We live in Charlotte, NC and always look for opportunities to attend a CBT production. Like all CBT products; Violet was well written, directed, and presented.

I found it hard to give this play a rating, because all the voices were so good. After the glowing review in the News Sentinel, I was disappointed in the story and found the staging a bit confusing at times. My biggest question was why wasn't Violet given the scar in make-up, which is the whole topic of the play.... More

My wife and I went to see the production "Violet" last night. We had not been to Clarence Brown Theater in many years, but saw a review of the performance that highly recommended it. What a great venue! I doubt if there is a bad seat in the house and parking is convenient and free. The performance was great with... More

Went to see a preview of "Violet" last night because Charlotte Munson, who was the fabulous lead in "South Pacific" last spring, is cast in the title role again, plus the promise of a wide range of Southern music. Her voice is an absolute treasure! The music and musical talent on stage were an absolute delight!

Have attended a couple times over the years, but not that often. Then, along came South Pacific! I'm now a believer . . . first rate casting of some national talent . . . first rate consumes made by the same . . . first rate musical accompaniment . . . first rate management in front office. Gonna try to... More
