I took my boys (9 & 5) for the afternoon. We were doing a scavenger hunt as part of the library's summer reading plan. I believe we spent three hours there looking through the exhibits. They loved the miniature room and some of the traveling...More

Knoxville is not a large city as cities go but it's art scene is one of the most vibrant we've seen. From KMA to the Emporium, if you like art, you'll be right at home in K'ville.

This is a nice museum but it's small. It is free and it is nice but you can do it all in 45 minutes and we love museums. It's worth going to but it won't take long.

The Knoxville Museum of Art or KOA as we locals refer to it, is free to enjoy. They change out the exhibits frequently and there is usually something for everyone. My favorite will always be the sculptures they have in the garden outside. Relatively small...More

We went on a whim to the Knoxville Museum of Art and were pleasantly surprised. I thought there was a good variety of art. We stayed for one hour which was not quite long enough. I would have liked to stay for two. Admission is...More

Great FREE museum. Wonderful local & regional artists work. Found it on accident and couldn't be happier with it.
