Very interesting art in a lovely, airy space. We enjoyed meeting the wonderful staff in the gift shop as well. An amazing venue for art considering the size of the city of Knoxville.

Nice small museum. Very friendly staff and helpful. Be sure to see the miniatures on the lower level. They have a Ansel Adams print not to miss.

We have been many times and always find something interesting to discover. Plus, on Friday nights they have Alive After Five with great music, eats, drinks, and dancing. Good art, introduction to new works, changing exhibitions, lots of variety and programs for the kids.

My daughter who's 15 was in love with the idea of this place so we went thinking this was for her... It wasn't! It was truly an experience for all Myself, Hubby, and 11 year old son. Had a great time!

This is a great free place to go. The art is impressive, and it can be done quickly. The outdoor areas are nice to walk around in, and the gift shop is quite neat.

Check their website -- some impressive special exhibits. I drive 50+ miles for their special showings. Love their permanent exhibits too, especially the glass works. Oh, and don't miss the gift shop -- I did a lot of Christmas shopping, including for the overly bright...More

I have thoroughly enjoyed time spent at the KMA. In addition to viewing inhouse art exhibits, I have delighted in the special displays from time to time. One prominent exhibit featured Rodin's The Thinker, which attracted many art patrons. Also, the museum has sponsored special...More
