We took the free trolley (so cute!) and got off at Neyland Stadium and then got lost. With no one to ask and no map and no signage it was hard to find. Enjoyed the evolution exhibit

Well laid out displays especially the Native Americans of this region. Video of the Cherokees was very moving. Geologic and fossil history was well done as was the Civil War here.

Plan to spend at least an hour visiting this museum on the campus of the University of Tennessee. The site of the World's Fair in Knoxville is near by and worth a visit as well.

It was a waste of time. Getting there was a pain. All traffic lights are programmed to be red all the time. The museum was a total bore. Don’t waist your time going there. Free

There is always something very interesting and educational going on and the fact it's free is a big plus! We go when it's not busy so it nice and quiet! Lovely little gift shop and very nice employees! We usually go several times a year!

About 90 minutes to two hours would be a good length of time. Be sure to ask the parking attendant for a free tour hour pass.
