We attended a reception adjacent to the James White Fort, offering us the opportunity to view the Fort. The Fort is small, and easily overlooked, but its importance to Knoxville history makes it worth the time to visit.

So much history to take in when in Nashville. Worth the stop for a brief visit. Especially good for those who are unfamiliar with colonial times and living.Great bit of history.

A good thing to do when in the area. You can get lost for an hour or two pretty easy if you are a history buff. It is in walking distance from the full service Marriott

Monday - Saturday. 9-5. That being said, the tour is about 1 hr. So, you should arrive no later that 4 for a tour.

Yes there is a nominal fee. With AAA I paid $6 which also applies to AARP, military, seniors, etc. I believe full cost is around $9. In my opinion it was worth it, and commensurate with what it costs for maintenance. Hope... More
