You get the big city feel down there. Couple unique spots and scenery. Not my type of fun, but there is Stock and Barrell, best burgers ever...

When we were here, the weather was hot and humid so it wasn't very pleasant but we still had fun. There were street performers like magicians and live music. A lot of street food vendors serving all kinds of simple but popular food. There were some shops in the area selling quite some interesting Mexican or Texas style items, which... More

One of our favorite places to go in Knoxville. Restaurants, shops and art. So many things to do and always something going on. Do not miss going to walk around market square.

Market Square has restaurants, bars, and venues, all surrounding a central courtyard that is home to live music, theater, farmer's markets, and more. There is always something going on, from free comedy shows every Tues night at Scruffy City Hall, to street musicians nearly every night.

Fair-style downtown place with several restaurants and very standard fare, some shops with local items plus the usual imported from China or India stuff. Nothing to drive me crazy actually. And when they have special events, which is quite frequently, it fills with locals walking their dogs, artists painting, I have seen preachers as well.

There is always something going on in Market square. Whether it be festivals, or movie nights, farmers markets or ice skating in the winter. Any time of the year, every day of the year. Come for the attraction, enjoy a good meal or drinks at one of many restaurants. Shop in the local stores. Knoxville Market Square is a must... More

Went there for dinner. Great concept & layout. I can see that being a fun time during games & events. Lots of restaurants & bars. There was also a healthy dose of homeless folks everywhere.

We were lucky enough to be here for a Spring craft show but even without it there would have been lots to do. There a so many restaurants and little shops to explore. Very quaint atmosphere.

Festival season usually kicks off about now...and we happened to visit while the Biscuit Festival was going on! Loved all the outdoor festival vendors!! As well as the local shops! Perfect place to shop, eat, drink & relax!
