I was disappointed in Lawrenceburg, having traveled to Ethridge to visit the Amish community, I thought the town was rather ugly, but this park is really beautiful.

The museum and interactive options are not reliably open until Memorial Day. We went mid May, the weather was gorgeous, and several people were there, but nothing was open except the restaurant. Without the history it's just a nice State Park rather than "David Crockett"...More

This is a fairly large, nice state park that includes camping, chalets, a lake, hiking trails, restaurant, swimming pool and more. Only reason for four star rating is that the restaurant was closed and so was the museum. We did enjoy the quietness and beauty...More

Even though you and camp out, grill out, swim, ride bikes, hike, you can also just drive thru and enjoy nature at its best.

Yes, I do not remember how many but they are nice. It is very popular so I would try to reserve in advance. Or you could arrive mid week.
